How do you use "BILL OF MATERIALS" in Tally Prime?

ASSIGNMENT

Company has decided to produce a BODY LOTION. To produce that new product required raw materials are as follows

- Labor Charges – 1%
- Electricity – 2%
- Packaging – ₹ 30

Press F12 for Configuration at stock item creation screen and activate the below option
- Set Components List (Bill of Materials) in Stock items : Yes
- Press CTRL + A to accept all
- Now create the finished goods with component list details and production formula

Now select the item from the list <press Enter>

Now enter the quantity as given in assignment
- (Specify the all raw materials as given in assignment)
Press CTRL + A to accept the entire screen

Gateway of Tally
- Vouchers
  - Press F9 for purchase voucher
Press CTRL + H to change the voucher mode and select “Item Invoice” in it, Press enter
Press F2 to change date : and enter 01-05-2021
Supplier Invoice Number: TSS/1789
Party’s A/c Name : select “Create” option
- Name : TSS Industries
- Under : Sundry Creditors
- Maintain Balances Bill – By Bill : Yes
- Press Ener
- Accept _ Yes
Purchase Ledger : Select “Create” option, Press enter
- Name : Purcahse A/c
- Under : Purchase Accounts
- Inventory Values are Affected : Yes
- Press enter
- Accept_ Yes
  (note: If purchase ledger is not displays, press F12 for configuration then activate the option “Use Common Ledger A/c for Item Allocation : Yes)

Godown : <Select “Rajam”godown from the list>, Press enter
Now Enter the Quantity and Rate
Enter the all raw materials as said above
Press Ctrl + A to accept all

Press ALT + F7 for stock journal
Press Ctrl + H to change mode and Select “Use as a Manufacturing Journal” in it, press enter

Press enter
Now automatically fills the raw materials and required quantity
Press enter
Type of Additional Cost:
Create the ledgers, Labour charge, Electricity and Packaging (Under : Indirect Expenses)
And enter the percentage as given in assignment
Now “Effective Cost and Effective Rate per ML ” displays automatically
Press Enter, Accept _ Yes
